Okay, so I don't know if you're going to be able to answer this or if you have a particular type of diets sounds like we're looking at the lifestyle at the same time. Some people want to call it that diet I'm going like to call it a diet, right? So we have the Keto Diet, the Gluten-free. Is there something out there that you see that you like, that you realize is being helpful faster or leases are able to do it. It's easier than one diet vs another.

I would say that's always a tough question to answer because with each of those diets, you know, they have some benefits, you know, some people that's how they become popular. So I know Keto is really trendy these days which is interesting because it's not really anything new. So if we think of like diets in the last 10-15 years that have been popular most of them have some form of Ketosis every beginning so the Atkins diet if anyone remembers this the Zone diet the South Beach Diet all of those diets that they start ketosis, especially at the beginning. So it definitely has, you know, some profound effects as far as jump starting weight loss. Yeah, so positive effects. They can all have positive effects. The thing to keep in mind is people respond to these different diets, you know differently. So, you know, the ideal diet for each person is going to be a little different and so part of that could be their genetics, you know, the other part of it could be their health status where they are right now. So depending on where they are and their health right now. There may be one diet that is really good for them to help them Reach their health goals and then, you know transition to something a little bit different for maintenance.

So it's definitely individual with Keto Diet. I do want to make this point because I think a lot of your listeners will you know this benefit from knowing this so, you know while it while it's popular while it's trendy keto diet, you know, it's good for some people but it's not for everybody so some people develop vitamin defficiencies from following the keto diet because they're most of their calories are coming from fat and so as a result their need for a certain vitamins to metabolize that increases. So that's an issue that can develop from following the keto diet is also a lot more difficult for people to get enough plants in their diet that they're following, because of the really strict carbs requirements that you have to stay with it in order to stay in ketosis, and I've actually see some people in our practice develop hormone imbalances from following keto diet because if you think about it, so your energies coming from fat, but you also need your fat to make hormones. So when all your energies coming from that you put your body in a position where it has to decide, you know, do I want to make energy or do I want to make hormones. Energy's gonna win? That's how people can develop hormone imbalance because they don't have enough stuff straight to run.
