Is Hand Washing Drying Out Your Skin?

Our team has been getting a lot of questions about what resources we offer to help during this time, so we want to make sure everyone in our community is well informed.

Sanitary measures and proper hand washing have been important now more than ever.  But these additional precautions can dry out your hands and age them more rapidly. See video below on best practices for hand washing from the World Health Organization (WHO).

Below are formulas in our Natural Skincare Boutique that we swear by and that our clients love to keep the skin healthy and hydrated.  Here are quick links to each of them below:

Restorative Hand Cream - contains skin barrier repair technology to quickly repair, hydrate and improve rough, dry texture of the hands. Key ingredients are
organic raspberry seed oil, which protects against sun damage along with meadow foam, date fruit, apple and safflower extracts which promote healthier skin, stimulate collagen and elastin production and help reverse the signs of skin aging through anti-inflammatory activity.

Lytic Gel Cleanser - a very effective antimicrobial cleanser for the hands (in addition to the face & body!) that will not excessively dry the skin. Key ingredients are menthol & willow bark extract.

Taking some time to take care your skin and doing some at home spa time can also help with alleviating stress during this time.
